With the Art Studio transition we are having special help from "Little Ms. Dominguez" the character as I transition from an Art Teacher to an Art Facilitator I am requiring the help of many friends.
You will find "Little Ms. Dominguez" all over the art studio, website and on instructions as I am branding the studio with her Art Facilitator specialist expertise.
The idea came over the summer when I remembered that one of my students left me a beautiful drawing of me and titled it "Little Miss Dominguez" on my desk and I didn't know who had made it but it brought such a huge smile to my face. I asked a good friend of mine, Stephanie Longoria, graphic designer and now Middle School Art teacher to make me into one of her famous Kawaii characters to help me brand the art studio. Mrs. Longoria has help me so much with this transition from the branding of the classroom to the art rules poster to pushing me to bring out the graphic designer in me which is hiding in a little corner of my art soul. I am so grateful to her with all her expertise and help.
You will learn more about the Art Facilitator through out the school year but for now here she is ready to make art with you.
Note to Teachers, Administrator and Instruction Specialist. The TTESS are located in the white areas to address what part of the TTESS evaluation each section falls into by the Dimension. Also on the right side you will see the "I Do, We Do and You Do" of the lesson. This also the lesson format I used that was taught to me by Isabel Lopez Art Teacher at South Hi Mount Elementary. Game is the objective, Activity is the modeling section, Materials that will be used, and Evaluation is the rubric.
