On June 15th, 2017 I attended my first Center for Education Development in Fine Arts in Austin. I had the privilege of attending with fellow art teachers from elementary, middle school and high school including our Art Director Beverly Fletcher. My absolutely favorite part of the summit was the opening ceremony that was put together by students from another school district. They gave a spectacular presentation that got us up dancing and giving them a standing ovation.
